Drybar x BFP

I loved working with Drybar a while back on a blogger mailer
with some of their new products. We created custom illustrations
for all the heavy hitters including Leandra (aka, the Man Repeller),
Aimee Song, Kimberley over @eatsleepwear, etc. etc. Below are a
few of my favorites:

If you or your hair are looking drab, pop into your local Drybar
for a quick pick me up! You won't be disappointed (and will probably
walk out with a bag full of goodies you just couldn't live without).

You can also shop their products online at Sephora and Nordstrom just to
name a few!

Beauty Cleaning Mat

Did you know that early access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
has started? Of course you did... everybody is talking (and posting)
about it. While I cut my Nordies card to shreds opting for travel
points from Southwest, I can still preview the sale and get my cart
ready for July 21st when the sale opens to non-cardholders.

One of the items I found on the sale is an absolute must. I purchased a
Sigma cleaning mat last year and have since become obsessed. Keeping my
makeup brushes clean is something I often overlook, but this mat is the easiest
way to keep them clean and to keep your skin happy. The NSale exclusive
includes a sample of the cleaning shampoo, so just add it to your cart
and call it a day. You (and your skin) can thank me later!

Rodan + Fields

I had the pleasure of working on a custom illustration for a Rodan + Fields
Leadership Boost. As a fan of the brand and products, it was a natural fit.
We created everything from luggage tags and notepads to custom name
tags.... all for the attendees of the event.

Mai Tai for Tiffany

Tomorrow marks the first official day of summer, but my hair is
already soaking in the sun and all the damage that comes with it.
In an attempt to keep my hair as healthy as possible, good products can
become a girl's best friend. Drybar's "Hotty Toddy" heat protectant
spray and the silk pillowcase are musts in my book. I'm also eager to
try the "Bay Breeze" hydrating shots for extra hydration for my countless
split ends.

To get a messy, beachy look, add the "Mai Tai" spritzer to your cart asap.
Top with Triple Sec 3 in 1 spray for those ultra messy waves.

Eva

I've mentioned several times how much I am a fan of Drybar and all of
their products. This is another illustration we did a while back as part of
a campaign for influencers and editors, this one of Eva Chen (signature
apple in tow).

Rodan + Fields

A loyal follower recently introduced me to Rodan + Fields, and I have to say,
I'm already hooked. I have been using the Reverse system to hopefully reverse the
sun damage (from college tanning bed days, eek!). I have seen slight results and can't
wait to keep using it to see how my skin will change.

Top Beauty Buys

The 2016 Gift Guide launched just in time for those last minute shoppers
(hint hint: Christmas is less than 20 days away!!).

Today I'm expanding it to include my favorites in the Beauty category.
From the Tweexy Nail Polish holder to the Spa Tower (hello, perfect for
moms and grandmothers), the people that created these items are pretty much
geniuses. I've included some of my absolute must-haves that I use on a daily basis
forget the St. Tropez gradual tan to help fight the winter blues). But one of my favorite
finds this year has to be the Spatty Datty... get every last drop out of those narrow makeup
bottles with these reusable mini spatulas (for lack of a better term).

See the full Gift Guide here and the latest addition, my Top Beauty Buys.

I'm excited to share another one of my latest additions to the beauty counter...
the Quantum Switch by Theorie. The set includes 4 different sized barrels to
create the perfect look for every occasion. I prefer to use a larger barrel to create beachy
waves, but if you're wanting a tighter curl, there are options! It also includes a glove
so you won't burn your hand and comes in a perfectly sized travel bag. This one is
a must-have!

Drybar, take 3

More from the most sought-after bar right now, Drybar.

I worked with them on a new product launch a while back, and
here are three of the influencers that received not only some serious
Drybar swag, but also a custom illustration by yours truly!

They are all sporting various Drybar staples like the Buttercup
those perfect beach waves), a Full Pint medium round brush to
smooth your freshly dried locks, but also my favorite product right
now, Triple Sec. It's a texturizing spray that gives your hair serious
volume. Literally. Use. It. Everyday. Trust me, those celebs with the
messy but chic hair are using a texturizing spray to get the look
(or their glam squads are).

They also have a new Baby Buttercup hair dryer that's perfect
for traveling (hint, think Christmas gifts, perfect for the girl on
the go) and a silk pillowcase. I sleep on one every night and it
helps keep your hair fresh! I love it.

Another custom illustration from the Drybar project. This one is
highlighting "The Cosmo", something I could use both as a hair-do and drink
to ring in the weekend!

Lashes

I recently decided to bring the BFP signature look to life by getting lash extensions.
It's something I've wanted to do for a while, but was waiting to find someone I could trust
and someone whose work was flawless. That led me to my girl, Abby. If you're in the Nashville
area, go see her! She's the best.
(615. 370. 7041 x 206)

I'm already obsessed with them and can't imagine NOT having them at this point. They're perfect
for summer when I wear less makeup (because it's so blazing hot). They make you feel put
together without having to wear a full face of makeup.

Lash extensions or not, everyone needs to buy this Bottom Lash Mascara by Clinique.
It's genius! It gets all those little lashes and makes your eyes truly pop. Ten bucks well spent.

If you're not ready to take the plunge into lash extensions, try some of my favorite mascaras
below. I was a Lancome Definicils user for years and recently made the switch to Dior Show.
Both are great for length and volume.

Side note: if you have lash extensions, no mascara is needed. It takes one step out of my
daily routine which is always a plus!

KJ LipKit

So, I'm one of those people that was dying to get my hands on the Kylie Jenner LipKit. I failed miserably the first time, but was finally able to secure two kits a while back. I went with Koko K and #22. I love them both! They have a glorious matte finish and delicious scent. I've heard matte lipsticks are very drying, so I apply a regular chapstick (or lip balm) first to avoid too much dryness.

This was created using my two colors of choice:

left// dress: Isa Arfen  |  shoes: Charles David
right// dress in different color: Nasty Gal  |  shoes: Steve Madden via Revolve
(also available here and here)

I can't wait to get my hands on her new metallics (specifically "Heir").
