Role Reversal
I'm always pouring over fashion-related blogs for outfit ideas and I get a lot of inspiration from all the lovely bloggers out there, but this was a first: a role reversal. I illustrated the image above the other day only to have Tara of Jimmy Choos and Tennis Shoes dress the part afterwards and send me these images.... how lovely!

Fash Boulevard
I've introduced you to Anna James of Fash Boulevard several times over the past year or so. She is a style columist for Lauren Conrad and Guiliana Rancic. She is also the client behind this project that I field emails left and right for everyday.

Easy
I'd like to introduce you to a word I learned while doing my internship at Derek Lam in New York (almost 5 years ago.... yikes!), "Easy". When I was there during market, my boss would be showing the collection to potential buyers going piece by piece... when she said a certain piece was "easy" it instantly sold. Translation: it's easy to pair with other pieces/easy to wear/etc. I decided to try the word out in my previous sales associate life.... let me tell you, it works every time. Sales associates take note. Try it.
In my opinion, easy does it (one of my dad's favorite phrases).

Kaftan
I have been searching high and low for a kaftan. Much to my dismay, Tory Burch makes a fab one:
Taking inspiration from Damsel in Dior's picture on Instagram, this kaftan pairs perfectly with the pom pom bag (also Tory Burch), don't you think?? Not to mention that the bag is on sale.
