It's Christmas time!
Christmas for me starts the day after Halloween. Our house it usually decorated that weekend following Halloween. However, this year, we have been in the process of a major renovation. SO we have not put up a SINGLE Christmas decoration. uuugggggg. It's almost Thanksgiving....we're running out of time!
Anyways, instead of harping on that, I decided to tell you MY favorite things about Christmas (this is just a few, because really it's the best time of the year!)
Top 10 of the moment (in no particular order):
1. Starbuck's Christmas cups
2. Miracle on 34th Street & Christmas Vacation
3. Other Christmas movies: Prancer, Home Alone, The Polar Express, It's a Wonderful Life, The Holiday, Love Actually (I watch the last two year-round)
4. Christmasy candles....especially this one Aromatique scent.... cinnamon spice or something like that
5. SNOW...though I've never had a "white" Christmas
6. Peppermint mochas and Caramel Apple Spice from Star$
7. My Pandora station consisting of Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Burl Ives, Perry Como and other old-school fabulous Christmas carolers......and Michael Buble
8. Overly-decorated front yards loaded with tacky inflatable snowmen and santas, etc.
9. The Rockette's
10. Presents, presents, presents!!
11. (This should have been first), but of course, the REAL reason for the season!
(this snowman deserves an award for it's size!)
