On part two of New Year's Eve options, here's another way to branch out of a little black dress.... a little pink dress! The mock turtleneck and sleeves balance the shorter hemline so it's still sassy without showing everything. This Emilia Wickstead dress does the trick.
With New Year's Eve quickly approaching, let's explore some outfit options. I'm a big fan of an LBD, but sometimes you have to branch out, step out, come up with something new, etc. So, to staying in the same realm, how about a little black jumpsuit? The main reason to try one is can you imagine how comfortable you would be all evening? Inspired by a recent episode of Courtney Loves Dallas (my new favorite show), here's how Courtney wore hers.
I had the pleasure of creating the Skalla family Christmas card including two people that you've seen here before, Rachel of Pink Peonies and Emily of The Ivory Lane (along with the rest of their fab family).
Showcasing a recent custom illustration for AshleGryre, a store that you have to stop by if you're in the Atlantic Beach area. She's fab, so I can only imagine that her store is, too!
Want the perfect party look? This one from Devon Rachel is spot-on. She's one of my favorite bloggers as she always seems to hit the mark with such effortless style.
One of my favorite ways to incorporate leopard is in smaller accessories. Winter is the perfect time to add a pop of it either in a scarf or a fun pair of gloves. "Tinsel" approves.
Cozy up in this lovely blush-pink furry number. I'd wear it with jeans and a t-shirt. You could also throw it over a cocktail dress for a holiday party in lieu of the classic black blazer.
I love the Asos dress above. It's something I could see Kate Middleton in.... sophisticated and chic. I've also listed some other ways to incorporate this color on my 2013 Gift Guide on Pinterest.
Sharing another recent custom illustration of these lovely newlyweds....
