Say what you want about Taylor Swift, but she's laughing all the way to the bank. She knows how to build a brand (herself being the brand) starting with her look. She picks one and sticks to it.... most recently her "red" theme. 

Here she is in her current go-to: a letter jacket w/ lace-up oxfords.
