Parisian Chic

So I stumbled across a blog not too long ago, and ever since, I check it daily. It provides a daily taste of the Parisian lifestyle that most Americans long for. Everything just looks so much more glamorous in Paris. It's called LittleBrownPen and I encourage to check it out. You won't be disappointed. 

Today, she posted a picture of two lovely little cafe chairs that screamed "make me into an outfit". So I did. 

Not sure what I had in mind in the beginning, but the finished product is more of a snapshot of my mom and I out and about.

Maybe we can go back to Paris and sport these chic looks as we venture out in the fabulous city.

Emmy 2010

I will preface this all by saying that I hardly watch TV anymore. Heretofore, I do not know some of the people pictured below nor what shows they appear in. Yes, in college, we were all big TV junkies and would be gathered around it each night for a marathon of shows. Since then, I rarely even turn the thing on. I did tune in for the red carpet, of course. So below, you will find my favorites, not so favorites, and the ones that fell in between. Happy Monday!

BEST DRESSED, hands down:

Pretty dresses, but the colors left me totally underwhelmed. 

Navy, a very big trend last night. Some good, some bad. 

Same with lace, only the black one passes in my book.
